Continuing their Northern tour with Sarah Harris, Northern Monk hit the Lake District, teaming up with their friends at Hesket Newmarket Brewery to recreate a Cumbrian classic, the sticky toffee pudding.
A complex grist creates toffee and dried fruit flavours, with rye bringing an added clove-like spice, and a touch of Azacca in the whirlpool for notes of candied orange.
Caramel additions in the kettle and FV enhance the toffee notes, with lactose and vanilla creating a final drizzle of custard over the top.
