Straffe Hendrik Quadruple is a rich and intense dark Belgian ale. It is brewed with a subtle blend of specialty malts, which give the ale an extremely dark color and a chewy, malty complex character. The quadruple combines a clean dryness with a warm full bodied mouth feel and essences of fruit. Secondary fermentation in the bottle creates a living ale that can be aged and will have an evolution of taste profiles over time.
It is brewed by the last active brewery in the historical city of Bruges. The town archives first mention the brewery in 1546. Since 1856, the famous brewing family Maes-Vanneste has owned the brewery.

With its rich aroma of hops and malt, and a long, deep, bittersweet finish, Gem is an exceptional best bitter.
Gem (4.1% vol / 4.8% vol in bottles) is a quintessentially English beer, brewed with skill and passion using floor-malted Maris Otter barley and Goldings hops from Kent. Gem contains wheat and barley malt.
Probably the best word ever. Cwtch (rhymes with butch) can mean either cuddle or cubbyhole. Grab a glass, relax and cwtch up with this untraditional Welsh red ale - a perfect blend of six caramelly malts and three citrussy American hops.
It isn’t your average bitter - the hops do more to this deep amber coloured beer than just provide bite. Any old hop can do that! We’ve selected some of the most aromatic and tangy hops from the other side of the pond to give this red a fresh hit that complements the caramel flavours of the malts that gives this beer its colour. Drinkability and balance makes this beer.
We love a good Cwtch, and we’re not the only ones…
CHAMPION BEER OF BRITAIN 2015
Golden Hare a smooth-yet-dry, wonderfully fresh and delightfully zesty taste, making it a superb ale.
Golden Hare (4.4% vol) is a rewarding light ale that bursts with flavour and brims with condition. It’s skilfully brewed using floor-malted Maris Otter barley and the very aptly named Goldings hops. Golden Hare contains wheat and barley malt.
Our flagship beer; a classic best bitter to suit the Bristol palate.
Based on a Sixties recipe using all-British malt and hops.
It is temptingly copper in colour with a malty aroma and is notably well balanced with malt and biscuity tones, polished off by a satisfyingly bitter finish.
