If 2019 was all about polishing the edges Polly's established in their first year, and 2020 was about cementing where they thought their pale and hoppy beers should be in terms of quality and technique, then 2021 - their fourth year as an active brewery - is where they are starting to branch out from their usual comfort zone a little more and brew more styles that help them grow and learn as a team.
Plant Sugar treads familiar territory, but amplifies it up to the max for their biggest sour beer to date.
The brew plans for this beer simply read "Rhubarb & Quince = LOADS", and boy did they take that one seriously.
These awesome fruits meld together for a wonderful jammy tartness, before mellowing back around with a kick of sea salt to keep things interesting.

Flintshire, North Wales
Yonders new imperial stout, Lupercalia has sweet, dark roasty malts with big flavours of chocolate and coffee.
Finished with a touch of sweet floral rose, a silky smooth mouthfeel and just the right amount of booze.

Sweet Like is a full on stout from Attic Brew Co, with rich chocolate flavor from the additions of cacao and Belgian dark chocolate.
A touch of vanilla and thick, silky mouthfeel give the impression of a decadent gateau not even Paul Hollywood could turn his nose up at.

This Oat Cream New England IPA from Glasgows Overtone Brewery is brewed with an unruly amount of oats and Lactose to create a creamy mouthfeel
Backed up with Cashmere, Idaho 7 and Mosaic hops, giving berries and tropical fruit flavours.
Contains: Gluten, Lactose
Brewed to a special recipe jealously guarded by the brewery, Barbar honey uses honey during the mash with the wheat to create a smooth sweetness and floral, acacia-like aroma that makes the honey beer as delicious as it is unique.
ABV : 8%
There is some interesting chemistry behing Another Spanner in the Works.
It was co-fermented with a strain of Torulaspora delbrueckii supplied to Electric Bear by Lallemand Brewing.
What this means is the beer will have subtle hints of spice and citrus which are melded with floral, piney and tropical fruit notes from a large dose of dry hopping!
