A thirst quenching session beer, Sour Suzy mimics a classic German brewing technique (sour mashing) to impart a light, refreshing tartness.
No hop bitterness & very low hop profile. Sour Suzy is not your typical session beer – rather it delivers something a bit more obscure and intriguing. It drinks as refreshingly as a glass of lemonade.
The grain bill includes a healthy portion of wheat, while citrusy hops lend bright notes to the aroma which are accentuated by the addition of Makrut lime leaves.
Food pairings - Seafood (white fish, mussels, crab), or as a palate cleanser between dishes.
The flagship beer Lucky Jack gets a kick in the ass with more fruit, they simply added Grapefruit peels and Pink Grapefruit juice for the summer beer edition!
Slightly more pink, slightly more acidic, a lot more fruity and fresh! Unfiltered and limited for the summer!
Food pairings - Sushi, pulled pork sandwich, Norwegian brown cheese and spicy mango salad.
Buxton Brewery from Derbyshire, started life in 2009, brewing on a 40lt kit. Over the next 12 months of playing around with recipes, they decide to cuckoo brew in a local brewery. Moving to using a 2nd hand 800lt kit in January of 2010, This was the turning point for Buxton Brewery...
A sour 6.3% ABV gooseberry IPA from Buxton brewery, this is also a colab with Lervig. Named after a jutting rock in Norway over lake ringedalsvatnet. Tart from the get go, with a stunning lambic beer aroma. A strong body that rolls well with the tartness and dryness of the beer. This beer is rather refreshing!
