Bath, England
Electric Bear is Bath's very own craft brewery, and we have their cans available to buy in our shop and on our website all year round. The name of the brewery comes from the old Bear Brewery that used to be in Bear Flats (an area of Bath) & Electric as this is what they use to power their kettle (the vessel used to boil the wort during brewing).
The original Bear Brewery is now gone – a victim of a WWII bombing raid in April 1942.
We always have at least one of their beers available on tap in our bar.

There's no wonder this brew is so dark and edgy. Electric Bear used Midnight Wheat Malt to make this smooth and tasty Porter giving it subtle roasty notes, with a caramel and biscuity base.
Say no more.

It's no mystery as to why this porter tasted like liquid choccy digestives. But to give you a clue; this dark brew contains heaps upon heaps of chocolate and biscuit malt in the lusciously rich mash.
On closer inspection as this fantastically quaffable porter warms up it reveals cold brew coffee, oaty granola and an abominable amount of chocolate biscuits.
