The Tipsy-Train Beer Blog with Electric Bear's Mortis Vitis

February 12, 2020

First smell is definitely a thick and sticky coffee one with some malt bubbling underneath. Have to say the first taste didn't have the body that I was expecting, although that sweet pop from the raisins was there.

The Tipsy-Train Beer Blog with Pressure Drops' Behind Door Number 3

February 11, 2020

First smell is an almost creamy tropical one that's full of energy. The following taste delivered dry hops bubbling with energy, before that fruity and tropical taste coated the mouth beautifully. Thick flavours without too much pineapple (which I like) and just beautifully balanced...really quality IPA.

Polly's Brew Co - 'Dream Like Sequence'

First smell was a really thick, lactose sensation up the nose with a nice tropical tingle behind it. The next taste had a nice hoppy hit, but well balanced so as not to take away the tropical flavours.

The Tipsy-Train Beer Blog with Gloucester Brewery's American Pale Ale

February 10, 2020

First smell is a thick tropical one with strong pineapple and just buzzing away underneath. First taste was certainly a hoppy one, but in my opinion too much of one, couldn't really absorb it without readjusting the mouth. Flavours were punchy, full and provided a wake up call, but the slight bitter edge at the back wasn't really to my liking. Alot of oomph for a American pale ale which was a pleasant surprise, but just not quite balanced enough to the quality of ingredients used.

The Tipsy-Train Beer Blog with Left Handed Giant's Go Ahead

February 10, 2020

First smell is a fierce tart raspberry one that's just bubbling away and ready to escape. The following taste carries on the first sense with a tart rush that made me give a yelp of enjoyment! Then, a cracking surprise comes at the end with a smooth rhubarb dousing of the sourness...fantastic balance.

The Tipsy-Train Beer Blog with Northern Monk's Patrons Project 16.03 // Haze Outdoors // Ben Nevis // Imperial Stout

February 10, 2020

The can has a really good photo of four people gathered on Ben Nevis looking like their conspiring to form a potentially cracking stout... First smell is a deliciously thick chocolate and coffee one, gets the tastebuds going. The following swig gives more of the same taking you straight to flavour country!

The Tipsy-Train Beer Blog with Tiny Rebels's Peaches & Cream

February 09, 2020

First smell is a feint peachy one (unsurprisingly) with a light hoppy buzz in the background. The following swig delivers a deep, but not too sweet peach flavour that's very pleasant indeed. Nice bit of mouthfeel is there as well, giving a creamy taste that makes this beer eminently drinkable and enjoyable. Great beer by a great brewery, give it a go!

The Tipsy-Train Beer Blog with Northen Monk x Gypsy Hill Brew's Patrons Project 8.07 // Reece Yeung // Vague // Gipsy Hill // DDH New England Kolsch

February 09, 2020

First smell is a definite peachy one with a powerful hoppyness just bubbling away behind it. The next swig certainly packed a punch with those double dry hops smashing straight into the mouth, although there is a smooth creaminess that it rides the back of. That gentle peach flavour really balances out well with that powerful oomph and lactose, a top drink that you should give a whirl!

First smell was a whisky one to be honest, then a smokey finish....enticing! The next swig was more of the same with a really strong whisky flavour riding on a boozy beer mouthfeel.

The Tipsy-Train Beer Blog with Alphabet Brewing Co's Juice Springsteen

February 08, 2020

First smell is a mango tropical hit to the nose, light but sill packs a punch. The following swig had a nice hoppy hit that gave a juicy taste with a slightly bitter finish. Really good flavours for the money actually, although I'd have just liked the oomph to last a bit longer...

The Tipsy-Train Beer Blog with Liquid Light Brew Co's Peaches En Regalia

February 07, 2020

The can has the look of a pink snapshot of a galaxy outside the solar system...or a nice tie-die shirt! Pretty cool either way... First smell is a very light and fragrant peachy smell that almost rides along the edge of being gosey. The next swig gives that definite peach hit with the tart extra taste that the hibiscus gives.

The Tipsy-Train Beer Blog with Moor Beer Company's Claudia

February 07, 2020

First smell is really light and zesty with a nice buzz of hops in the background. The next swig was more of the same with an almost hyped up pilsner taste. Plenty of hops at the start, bit of fruitiness and an almost sweet/malt at the end which is hard to place. Nice drink and a pleasant surprise to be honest.
