Dry January
As usual in January after all the gluttony of the Christmas and New Year parties, some of us try to make a new years resolution to stay off the booze for January.
If you have decided to try Dryanuary this year along with a reported 6.5 million others joining in, we can give you a helping hand.
It doesn't mean you should give up on beer! We are proud to offer a fantastic and ever-growing selection of delicious beers with all the flavour, but no alcohol...
Alcohol-free beer has come a long way. With evolving brewing techniques along with special yeasts, these beers are now brewed to be low alcohol. No longer heating the beer to drive off the alcohol which used to make the beer taste smokey and burnt.
Due to the new processes it makes an alcohol free beer, taste, like beer!
For those of you who like a German beer, Erdinger, Fruh, Jever and Veltins are all part of the selection! They will quench your thirst for a crisp, no-nonsense drink.
Are you more into craft, hoppy beers? The very popular No Worries range by Norwegian Lervig is perfect for you. The standard No Worries is full of hoppy flavours, whilst the Grapefruit and Pineapple No Worries bring some fruit juice game to add some fruitiness. Finally, No Worries Driving Home for Christmas is the festive version of the range, malty and spicy.
Discover also the great alcohol-free brewery Big Drop - these guys from Ipswich are brewing some of the greatest Alcohol Free Craft Beers on the market, and some of the most exciting ones as well. Grab Kinzig, their gateau stout, Firesider, their pumpkin spiced ale, or even Uptown, their craft lager.
Even the most popular British craft breweries are getting on the trend, and for good reason! Beavertown's Lazer Crush is hoppy and sharp, and will satisfy your IPA cravings. Tiny Rebel's Clwb Tropica Non Alcoholic, very much like its alcoholic counterpart, is full of tropical flavours, with some added lactose for a slight sweetness. Northern Monk's Super Stredge punches well above its weight, hoppy and hazy. And Ridgeside's Nothing But The Rain v6, with the great addition of Sabro hops, giving it a coconutty tropical undertone.
Special mention as well to our newest addition from a very new local alcohol-free brewery - DIPA Toe In from Lowtide Brewing Co, which impressed us! A nice West Coast-style maltiness with plenty of hops and a nice body, we suspect you'll love it!

Our Dark Beers
It would now be really bad of us to temp any of you that are partaking in Dryanuary with some of our rich dark beers.
If you've decided to keep drinking this January, it's absolutely fine as well, and we've got just what you need...
As the days are cold and the nights colder, we believe the best way to warm yourself up and get a bit of well-deserved comfort is to get cozy on the sofa and sip one of our delicious dark beers.
DRY STOUTS
These gorgeous dark beers have a dryness and a coffee like bitterness that comes from the dark malt they have been brewed with.
They're all about roastiness, full of coffee flavours, chocolate and usually with a little hoppiness.
Arbor's Midnight Blue
Beak's Pencil
Full Circle Brew Co's Snake Island
DESSERT STOUTS
Treat yourself to a desert!
Some of our dark beers truly are a dessert in a can.
Brewers usually add Chocolate, vanilla, peanut butter or even salted caramel to make them thick, rich & indulgent.
These stouts are outrageously good!
Hammerton's City of Cake and Crunch
Unbarred's Salted Caramel Chocolate Donut
IMPERIAL STOUTS
Imperial stouts are bold, strong in ABV but also in flavour, to sip with caution!
Extremely rich, thick, sweet, with lots of coffee, chocolate, roastiness and alcohol. mmmmmm!
Wiper and True's Barrel Aged Plum Porter
Left Handed Giant's Wolf Moon
Evil Twin's Even More Newborn Infant Jesus
Black Iris' Her Name Was Weborah
ON TAP
You can still enjoy draught beer, just not inside a pub.
Pop in with an empty bottle and we can fill it up from the taps, or buy one of our cool growlers that you can use over and over again.
We also have plastic bottles if you forget yours.
That’s all from us this week, but remember to keep an eye on our social media pages to see what’s happening.
Cheers
