Wild Beer Co - Breakfast Of Champignons
What looked like a potentially more relaxed day to concentrate on slightly more stimulating things ended up being a bit of a slog, but got through it ok. Also, received this new technology called 'wifi' at home, so it's a brave new world ahead!
Had no idea what to go for, so went for what I though looked the most interesting taste wise...and this popped up. The classic brewery narrow brown bottle with deer on the front alongside some beige/brown descriptive pretty font.
A bouncy sour note on the first smell, not too much, but definitely nice and fragrant. The taste was more of that light gose with a bit more of a richer and less face crunching hit that other sours. Wouldn't say it's kicking me with wild mushrooms, but there's an earthy feel to it before an acidic finish that does develop as you go along. Really nice drink actually, although I can't quite out my finger on what grabbed me about it. Just a different take on a sour which isn't too in your face and you can nicely dip away.
As always, I hope you enjoyed my personal review, but why not come into Beercraft of Bath and try it for yourself!...🍺🤓 Han
