Tiny Rebel - Rhubarb & Custard Sour

Tiny Rebel - Rhubarb & Custard Sour

*Delayed Friday post* Only a half day today, so packed the work in the morning before getting home at a nice time for a long weekend. Bit of dodgy news in the afternoon, so cracked open this beer to raise the spirits for me and the missus. Typical brewery can with those fantastic vibrant colours showing pinks, yellows and some rhubarb that'd looked like it'd been up all night having a good time.

First smell up the ol'snout is that strong rhubarb hit which is almost biteable...anticipation is here! The following swig gave a big vanilla and I guess custard push, full of volume and a tiny bit of tartness. Tastes like those old rhubarb and custard penny sweets back in the olden days....when I was around and can unfortunately remember. This was a fantastic beer going forward with that gentle sourness balanced fantastically against those full lactosey flavours. Me and the missus loved it!

As always, I hope you enjoyed my personal review, but why not come into Beercraft of Bath and try it for yourself!...🍺🤓 Han

The people trying to preserve the idea of real ale are just trying to preserver an idea of their youth. Just maybe in 40 years time i will be an even grumper old man complaining about how craft beer is the real beer!
