Siren Craft Brew - Going Out Stout

Siren Craft Brew - Going Out Stout

*Delayed post*Slightly quieter Friday, but still pretty hectic with picking & packing, a load of phone calls and in shop customers and a fair bit of marketing to squeeze in. Fajita Friday to look forward to though, so just had to think of a beer to accompany it... The can is mainly purple with very abstract lines and curves that reminds me of a curled up dragon off the hobbit actually!

First smell is a very strong malty coffee one, with a sweet berry finish to it. The following really delivers that strong coffee malt taste, but not as full as I expected. Not going to lie, the drop off is big after the first hit as it goes very thin and watery before that raspberry touch of sweetness. There's certainly bitter finishes and a chocolate hint running throughout, but the balance just isn't there with not enough body.

As always, I hope you enjoyed my personal review, but why not come into @beercraftbath and try it for yourself!...🍺🤓 Han

First smell is a solid stout one of coffee with a sweet background. The following swig delivers that beautiful sweetness that is certainly reminiscent of smooth syrup over pancakes, before that coffee taste comes in. Have to say that the more I hit it back, the more I liked it, as the balance of coffee and sugary syrup came into play.

First smell just tells you I'm an IPA with full fruity flavours bulking under the snout. The following swig just gives you an electric shock of powerful hops that are a real eye opener, then straight behind is that thick mouthfeel giving you tropical flavour. Each swig after packs a punch, but a more subtle peachy tone starts coming through to end the taste.
