Pomona Island - Space Elite

Pomona Island - Space Elite

A very long day with work and home moving stuff going on, but managed to tick all the boxes as much as I could, so pretty damn content.

Needed a big beer for end of week choice before getting my removals gear on tomorrow, so went for this matte black can with a very cool 80's retro rocket shop and afterburner designed can by Kid Machine from Manchester.

Upon can opening I got almost solid juicy and especially pineapple smells being shoved up my nose while looking into a thick hazy liquid. The hops bounce on the tongue in a balanced and enjoyable way with a feint bitterness at the end which is still wrapped in pineapple and tropical flavours. I'm not going to lie I'm not a huge pineapplely fan so this wasn't a tip-top beer for me, but it's a drink pumped full of great ingredients and flavours, so I'd have no hesitation of having this one again.

As always, I hope you enjoyed my personal review, but why not come into Beercraft of Bath and try it for yourself!...🍺🤓

Happy end of the week, and cheers everyone!🍻 Han

The people trying to preserve the idea of real ale are just trying to preserver an idea of their youth. Just maybe in 40 years time i will be an even grumper old man complaining about how craft beer is the real beer!
