Polly's Brew Co - 'The Feels Vol. 2'
Jeez, that was a long one! Got in at 8 and back after 7 due to a very busy day at work and am unfortunate situation cancelling the trains in my area. Managed to use a bit of my below average brain power to break the back of the newsletter though, and got a few minutes to take some pretty pics of some beers in Bath which is never a bad thing. Have to also admit that I was tempted to buy some large cheesy chips at the end of the day, but held my nerve and was rewarded with a dekiocus Mexican dish from the missus!
Can is a close look at what looks like some autumnal leaves on some damp soil...certainly different!
Fresh and citrusy smells fire out after the can opening, just what I needed. First swig doesn't have that hoppy punch you may expect from an IPA, but a creaminess contains those flavours and delivers them in a different way. The punchyness is there with that lactose mouthfeel that coats the tongue really nicely, which gives a smooth delivery of those beautifully balanced ingredients. Really nice drink to enjoy.
As always, I hope you enjoyed my personal review, but why not come into @beercraftbath and try it for yourself!...🍺🤓 Han
