Polly's Brew Co - Reverie

Polly's Brew Co - Reverie

Just a one day appearance at work before being off for the festive period til next Monday! Damn busy day in Bath with all those last minute shoppers, but managed to get all the orders out with a smile still on my face. Was met at the station by the missus for a quick stroll to aldi for some Christmas eve nibbles, before struggling back with way too much shopping for the start of a hopefully fun and chilled out break.

The can has the classic Polly's drip on top of a luscious flowery background. First smell is a rich coffee and almost chocolatey vibe with a tantalising raspberry essence to finish. The following taste was a lot lighter than I expected, but still had a certain fullness to it...the bonus was a lot stronger raspberry hit that was really well balanced. As the swigs went along the flavours didn't die down and the raspberry was just beautifully interjected...once again balanced to perfection. Cracking drink all in all.

As always, I hope you enjoyed my personal review, but why not come into Beercraft of Bath and try it for yourself!...🍺🤓 Han

The people trying to preserve the idea of real ale are just trying to preserver an idea of their youth. Just maybe in 40 years time i will be an even grumper old man complaining about how craft beer is the real beer!
