Left Handed Giant - New Normal

Left Handed Giant - New Normal

2nd beer of the night, and 2nd pale ale of the night....let's see how this one holds up. Been rummaging in then spareroom for some old minidv tapes (remember minidv's!) as I've just dug the old camera out, meaning I'm equally intrigued and scared to my core at what they'll show. Right, I've just finished some deliciously cooked pasta and chicken pieces cooked by my lovely girlfriend, so here's hoping the taste train continues with this beer!

Can is pastille blue, pink and white with a couple of left hands beneath what looks like a foaming keg?

A light and thick fruity floral smell comes out of the can and into the nose, very nice indeed. The following swig certainly has a hoppy push to it, but it's controlled and allows the ingredients to really be appreciated. There's a subtle, but full grapefruit flavour and the whole experience is more juicy than sweet...which I prefer to be honest. Needs to be a quality pale ale to get my attention, but this one does...full of mouthfeel and packed with quality tastebuds tingles.

As always, I hope you enjoyed my personal review, but why not come into @beercraftbath and try it for yourself!...🍺🤓 Han

First swig doesn't have that hoppy punch you may expect from an IPA, but a creaminess contains those flavours and delivers them in a different way. The punchyness is there with that lactose mouthfeel that coats the tongue really nicely, which gives a smooth delivery of those beautifully balanced ingredients.

First smell is a solid stout one of coffee with a sweet background. The following swig delivers that beautiful sweetness that is certainly reminiscent of smooth syrup over pancakes, before that coffee taste comes in. Have to say that the more I hit it back, the more I liked it, as the balance of coffee and sugary syrup came into play.

First smell just tells you I'm an IPA with full fruity flavours bulking under the snout. The following swig just gives you an electric shock of powerful hops that are a real eye opener, then straight behind is that thick mouthfeel giving you tropical flavour. Each swig after packs a punch, but a more subtle peachy tone starts coming through to end the taste.
