Garage Beer Co - Airtight W/3 Sons

Garage Beer Co - Airtight W/3 Sons

Half day Friday which involved me managing to tick a few more pressies off the Christmas list, so it was time to celebrate with this interesting one. For starts, it's an all black can with a very focused eyeball stating straight at me....one of my worse fears, but let's go for it anyway.

First whiff was a light coffee one with a light sweetness just behind, but you could tell there was something goid on it's way. My following swig was a thick coffee and chocolate taste that you could tell was just packed and full with quality. At the end was a sweet berry finish that just took the edge of the stout being too heavy and balanced...a perfect touch. Maybe at tiny bit too much coffee compared to he chocolate ratio, but that's just a minor personal preference. All in all a quality drink, give it a go!

As always, I hope you enjoyed my personal review, but why not come into Beercraft of Bath and try it for yourself!...🍺🤓 Han

The punchyness is there with that lactose mouthfeel that coats the tongue really nicely, which gives a smooth delivery of those beautifully balanced ingredients.

First smell is a solid stout one of coffee with a sweet background. The following swig delivers that beautiful sweetness that is certainly reminiscent of smooth syrup over pancakes, before that coffee taste comes in. Have to say that the more I hit it back, the more I liked it, as the balance of coffee and sugary syrup came into play.

First smell just tells you I'm an IPA with full fruity flavours bulking under the snout. The following swig just gives you an electric shock of powerful hops that are a real eye opener, then straight behind is that thick mouthfeel giving you tropical flavour. Each swig after packs a punch, but a more subtle peachy tone starts coming through to end the taste.
