Electric Bear - Mortis Vitis
*Delayed post* 2nd tipple of the Friday night after enjoying a delicious stir-fry-day night meal done by the missus. What better way to follow it up than a game of table fusbal and a nice bevvie.
Classic black bottle with the name emblazoned in red on the label.
First smell is definitely a thick and sticky coffee one with some malt bubbling underneath. Have to say the first taste didn't have the body that I was expecting, although that sweet pop from the raisins was there. Certainly got the oaty malts and coffee flavour, but after that there was nothing really to get excited about...just didn't quite have a solid grounding as a stout for me.
As always, I hope you enjoyed my personal review, but why not come into Beercraft of Bath and try it for yourself!...🍺🤓 Han
