Electric Bear - Werrrd

Electric Bear - Werrrd

Really knackering day at work which included my first ever pint pouring. Solid C grade I'd say, not bad, but room for improvement. Safe to say I was looking forward to the train ride home, and this time my other half met me on the carriage back to windy Weston-super-Mare.

Good can opening for me this time and the Electric Bear - Werrrd! can has a really nice feeling matte finish with pumping 80's boomboxes in front of a busy skyline in vivid pinks, greens and blues....really eye catching!

First smell was lightly tropical with maybe grapefruit, but a definite fruity scent to it. The following swig had a full, but not overbearing hoppy hit and importantly didn't take anything away from the strong fruity base. There's definitely a zesty after-taste with a hint of bitterness, but nothing too strong, and that just keeps you coming back for more.

As I carried on taking the sips a cloud of different fruity flavours came through, so there was always something interesting to taste and explore as the train journey went on. Not a wow factor drink with wacky flavours, but a really solid and enjoyable drink that I'd definitely recommend to anyone and would happily have again.

Still sipping after 48 minutes, although that maybe because of nattering with the girlfriend, so I'll sign out now and catch you tomorrow.

Cheers!

First smell after a kitchen can opening was very pungent floral scents with a feint hoppy background. Definitely got that classic pilsner taste to it with the hoppy feel, then an actual nice light and clean followup that carries through each sip. No big memorable flavours that stay on the tongue, but a decent enough drink to knock back.

First smell is just thick melted chocolate flowing out before that bourbon kick makes an appearance. My following excited swig didn't leave me disappointed as those smells were combined perfectly in my mouth before a light coffee edge showed up.

The following swig had a definite rush of those flavours and hops, but not as powerful as I'd expected, in fact quite a smooth delivery. As I went along there was definitely those vic secret and amarillo hops there, but more of constant buzz in the background.
