The Tipsy-Train Beer Blog with Electric Bear's Gose and it gose and it gose

Electric Bear - Gose and it gose and it gose

Electric Bear - Gose and it gose and it gose

Non-stop day at work was started by walking by the high tide in Weston-super-Mare, pretty cool to be fair if not a bit freaky when you see all the flood barriers ready and active... Obviously, I was ready for my beer with my lovely lady on the train, and today I went for a delicious gose one. The can has different colours on a mountain range as a possible family of blackberries roll down in mild amusement/probable terror. I like it though.

Upon my surprisingly smooth can opening there was obviously a very, very strong blackberry smell with a tart jab going straight up the old conk. Then the first taste....and boy is it a ride! That sour blackberry rush powers through with those Pacific Gem hops which really opens your eyes, before a firm, but balanced bitterness arrives at the finish. As the swigs continue, that fruity taste never loses its oomph and as you grow more accustomed you certainly feel the salt running throughout. Not sure I could drink multiple back to back, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed each sip of this can.
Certainly one for those gose and sour fans out there who could see this as an Electric Bear classic I think. 33 minutes in and still enjoying it, I'll definitely be sampling this beaut again.

Cheers!
