BeerCraft of Bath is 2 years old
We are actually 1 month late, but it's better late than never!
On the 3rd August 2017 we opened our doors for the first time and it's been a whirlwind.
We've had - and have - a great team of staff that have helped us grow BeerCraft to where we are today and we are still growing.
Work is well underway to convert part of the basement into our lounge where you'll be able to chill with some amazing beers.  We've upgraded our chiller, so we are now running 6 taps of great beer and we are planning to increase this to 9 (or more) as time goes on.
A massive thank you to all our customers, family and friends for helping us get this far! And an extra thank you has to go to all our crowdfunders who have given us some extra help to get us there that little bit quicker.
We look forward to the future and all the exciting new beers we will try together.

THE NEW ENGLAND IPA
New England IPA's
This is one of our favourite beers styles out there right now and we love seeing a new NEIPA released!
Originating from the New England areas on the East Coast of USA these beers are made to be cloudy, slightly sweet, soft, smooth and creamy.
The hops used in these beers give it it's tropical flavours, normally pineapple, mango & orange are at the front.

Very little bitterness at the end, means those hops really push their tropical flavours to the fullest and give you that totally tropical taste.

If that’s caught your interest then we have a fantastic offering to open up the New England IPA world to you…

DEYA
Deya Brewing Company
We were invited to visit the Deya brewery on Monday for a few beers.
We took a short drive up to Cheltenham and eventually found them. Google was not much help navigating the trading estate!

While we were there, we grabbed a few slabs for the shop so come and grab them.
First off we have Tappy Pils, a clean and zesty pilsner that fizzes and glows in your mouth with hoppy goodness.
Second, we've got Cyclops, a collaboration brew with the excellent Finback brewery which has a soft and juicy taste sensation.

Come and grab them quick!

There are a couple of cans of Steady Rolling Man left in the fridge too, but you have to ask for them!

Pretty pants can opening was followed immediately by a deliciously light piney aromatic smell shooting up to my nose. The proceeding swig had a really powerful (if not slightly top heavy) hit of hops which delivered a rush to the system, then a quite soft citrusy and zesty climax.

A light citrusy smell came sweeping up with a massive hop scent that already gets the senses tingling. The first swig then gives more of the same with those powerful Citra and Amarillo hops exploding on your tongue, before a solid citrus and blood orange taste finishes just behind.

First taste certainly packed a punch, with that malty, hoppy delivery sweeping you off on a sea of bubbles before a slight bitterness coming from the rear. It's certainly a very classic tasting bavarian beer with those earthy hay and pine like tones seeping through.
